The Amazing Dual Sport ride in Georgia
Dirt county roads and incorporate Durahamtowm Plantation on 2nd day
(seriously technical hill climbs and pro level single track available.
A weekend of fairly easy Dual-Sport riding. Mostly two-track, lots of gravel, some rocks, some dirt. Weather should be mild/cool. There are a number of suggested routes to choose from. Your hosts, Doug Pippin and Norm Kern will be on hand to help load your GPS. Soil in the area is sandy/loamy and drains quickly so there isn't much slippery mud. That said, there are areas where large bikes are not recommended to go. (1000 cc)
Family Fun Ride - CANCELLED
This is not a Dual Sport ride however -
It is a charity event that brings together a lot of the different riding groups for a day of riding and fun

THE ANNUAL FALL FOLIAGE Self-Guided Dual Sport Ride SUNDAY Nov 8th, 2020
START: Tiger Drive-In Threatre, 2956 Old US Hwy 441 South, Tiger, GA
GARTRA has postponed the Fall Foliage Dual Sport Ride until Sunday, November, 8, 2020. Hurricane Zeta has caused widespread tree toppling and power outages in the area of the Fall Foliage ride. Power at our staging area at the drive-in theater and at the gas stations and restaurants in the area has not been restored at this time. There are reports of many trees down in the forest and we don’t know the extent of the road blockages on the route because of downed trees. It’s just not practical to conduct the event this Sunday, November 1. We’ll see what it looks like next week. We are truly sorry for the inconvenience. If you are in the area all ready, we do have teams that are pre-riding and cutting tree's if you would like to volunteer this weekend please let us know.
